TweetDeck

TweetDeck
Finally, My favorite twitter client has come put for the iPhone. Free,
same good look and feel, and the same awesomeness. You could tell how
excited I am (and hopefully you too!) by looking at my huge blog post
on Good Morning Geek dubbed "double twammy". The look of it reminds me
of the look of the new palm pre's home screen. This I also free. I
have been struggling to find a good twitter client, and up until this
point they have all been duds. Yay! Before this, I have been usingbthe
twitter mobile website, which is NOT a pretty one. Thank you, tweetdeck!

Pandora

Pandora is a cool free app and web service for the ipod touch and iPhone that "only plays music you like". It is "The music genome project right into your hands" (for free!!). Here's how simple it is. This applies for both the web based version and the iPhone/iPod touch (NOT iTouch!!!). First, register for free. this will create an account to store all of your stations on for when using a different device. Then, put in your favorite(/desired) song/artist. It will then find tracks like the artist or song you put in, and will make a "station"out of it called "[Artist/song here] Radio". Then, it will play a track with very close qualities to the artist/song you put in. You can them select thumbs down or thumbs up to modify the station. It will play constantly for about an hour and then say "Are you still listening?". To avoid this, just click something over there. It only does that when it thinks you aren't there and the app stays motionless for 1 hour. You can have LOTS of stations, I don't know the maximum (if there is one). And with Fluid (clickable) you can turn it into a desktop application. What else could you ask for? No ads! To do this, you need to subscribe to pandora ($$). All in all, if you want to ever find cool new music for free, Pandora is definitely #1.

iBeer

4.9/5 Stars

Okay, I know this app is a little useless, but it is hilarious and funny. only $0.99 in the app store, iBeer is a fairly realistic replica of drinking beer, and takes advantage of the accelerometer to tell when you are taking a drink. There are even different types of well, not beer, but different types of iBeer. And if you drink too much you'll get iDrunk. Get iAddicted, and you'll become an iAlcoholic. And no age restrictions! This app is pretty simple, which is why I don't really need to explain much of it. I think that you should go right here (clickable) and download it for yourself. I'm pretty sure I have some iPod touch/iPhone owners out there! For an instance you would need this app, say you have this app on your iPhone. You are going out to the bar to talk with some friends. They all get beers, but you don't drink. Use iBeer to join the party. Works great for cheers too! And imagine how awed out your friends will be. iBeer is fairly cheap (I'd love it if it was free), and is hilarious and in a few cases, useful. And careful, you don't want yourself to get iDrunk before iDriving (buh-dump-tsss)!
